Determining Which Label Size You Need

As many FBA sellers find it confusing to pick the right label size according to Amazon’s requirements, let’s clear that out first. There are three main types of labels used in Amazon FBA: FBA label, shipping label, FNSKU label.

(i) FBA Label

The Amazon FBA label helps the warehouse executives identify the seller. The label size should support measurement of 3 ⅓ x 4 inches.

With that being said, most Amazon sellers choose 4 x 6 inches wide-format Dymo thermal printers to do the job of printing FBA labels. The label size can also be as large as 6 x 8 inches for large packages.

What to Avoid Doing When Printing Amazon FBA Labels

Amazon has set some rules for FBA sellers to follow. When printing FBA labels, you must avoid the following:

1.

Missing Barcode

Ensure that all your labels are printing crisp and clear barcodes which can be easily scanned.

2.

Mislabelled Unit

Make sure that the items on your package coincide with the barcodes attached to the parcels. If they are not, Amazon will not proceed with the fulfillment process.

3.

Unscannable Barcodes

Make sure that the ink on your barcode won’t get smudged becoming unscannable. To greatly avoid this misfortune, it is highly recommended to use direct thermal printers.
