- Gently raise the DK roll compartment cover up to open.

- Prepare the new DK label roll for replacement.
- Attach the label roll’s spool alongside the printer’s spool guides. Make sure it inserts firmly on both sides.
- Pull up the roll release lever and then thread the DK roll’s end to the printing unit just behind the cutter.
- Lower the label roll lever and then close the compartment cover.
