• Can I use Brother DK-1221 square labels to make Candle warning labels?

  Yes, you can use Brother Dk-1221 labels to make candle warning labels. Its squared shape and 10/11 inch size make it perfect for the job. The DK-1221 also comes with a permanent adhesive that sticks strongly on numerous surfaces, including wax materials like candles.

• Can I print a barcode on these DK1221 Brother labels?

  Yes, you can print barcodes on DK1221 labels. Follow the steps below for Windows and Mac:

   

  Windows

   

  1. Launch P-touch Editor on your PC
  2. Click on the Bar Code button, and the Bar Code Properties dialog will appear on your screen.
  3. Click on the Protocol tab and choose the type of barcode you want to make.
  4. Click on the Input tab and, in the Data: field, enter a value and then click on the OK button.
  5. The barcode will appear in the layout window. Configure the size and position of the barcode using your mouse.
  6. Click the Print button, and your Brother QL printer will start printing the barcode.

   

  Mac

   

  1. Launch the P-touch Editor from your Mac computer
  2. Select Insert – Bar Code. The Bar Code dialog will appear on your screen.
  3. Click on the Protocol tab and choose the type of barcode you want to make.
  4. Click on the Input tab, enter the barcode data, and then click on the OK button.
  5. The barcode will appear in the layout window. Configure the size and position of the barcode using your mouse.
  6.  Click the “Print” button, and your Brother QL printer will start printing the barcode.

• How do you change a Brother DK-1221 Roll?

  1. Turn off the Brother QL printer by long-pressing the Power button.
  2. Remove the old DK-1221 Label Roll from the machine by holding the Roll Spool Arm and pulling it up. 
  3. Hold the printer by the front and gently raise the DK Roll compartment cover to open.
  4. Load the new DK-1221 Label Roll into the Roll Spool Guide. 
  5. Note: Please ensure that the Roll Spool Arm inserts securely into the Roll Spool Guide and that the Stabiliser slides into the printer’s notch.
  6. Thread the end of the DK Roll through the printer.
